Shipping Information

IMPORTANT: WARM WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT    April – September

Thank you in advance for your understanding. We always take special care to ensure your chocolate angels arrive in satisfactory condition but when the heat is on we need to take extra precautions to keep your chocolate angels from melting.

Non-toxic, reusable frozen gel packs will be added to orders being shipped to destinations 72 degrees or higher for an additional fee of $5.00 – $10.00 (depending on size of the order) during these months.

To prevent your angel from sitting in a warm facility over the weekend and to minimize the amount of time your angel will be in transit, we only ship on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays.  

Chocolate is extremely heat sensitive. We strongly encourage you to choose Priority Express delivery during these warmer months to ensure your chocolate angel does not melt!

SHIPPING METHODS

We offer USPS at this time.

USPS Priority:  Allow 2-3 days. Orders must be placed by Wednesday at 12:00 PM PST    

USPS Priority Express: Orders must be placed by Wednesday at 12:00 PM PST.  Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST on Wednesday will be shipped the following Monday with the exception of government holidays when the post office will be closed.

On a case-by-case basis and when applicable, a Customer Care representative may contact you should your chocolate angel order seem particularly susceptible to melting, at which time your best shipping options will be discussed.

Orders are shipped within 1-2 business days of when the order was placed, pending credit card authorization and verification, and provided all ordered products are in stock.  Orders placed after Wednesday at 12:00 PM PST will be shipped the following Monday.

P.O. BOXES

We do allow delivery to P.O. Boxes, but we cannot be held responsible for shipments that have not been picked up or accepted by the customer and/or damaged at the P.O. Box facility. In order to make sure your chocolate angel arrives in satisfactory condition, we recommend that you provide us with a physical street address where your order can be delivered.

Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories and Remote Rural Deliveries

These areas tend to take 2-4 days longer for delivery.  Orders being shipped to Hawaii require Customer Care assistance via phone: 510-812-4759 or email: customercare@chocolate-angels.com

We ship within the Continental United States and Canada at this time.

 

HELPFUL TIPS TO ENSURE DELIVERY

Although we do everything we can to ensure your angel arrives on time and intact, we cannot guarantee the exact time of day when your order will be delivered and will not issue refunds for orders not delivered by a specific time.

Please take extra care to provide us with an accurate shipping address. Chocolate Angel Creations cannot be responsible for an order shipped to an incorrect address due to an incorrect address entered by the customer at checkout or for packages left outside in the heat!
