Questions About Our Chocolate
What kind of chocolate are the angels made of?
We use a very high quality gourmet Belgian chocolate.
Why do you use Belgian chocolate?
We love Belgian Chocolate due to the meticulous care that goes into making it. It’s a “couverture” chocolate and contains only the finest, ingredients.
What is couverture chocolate?
Couverture chocolate is a very high quality chocolate that contains a much higher cocoa butter percentage than non-couverture chocolate; about 32 to 40 percent higher. This is what creates the rich, creamy, silky, mouth feel experience that you get when you enjoy our products. (non-couverture chocolates have less cocoa butter and may have hydrogenated and partially-hydrogenated fats and oils added)
Do your products have partially-hydrogenated fats or oils?
No way. Our chocolate contains all natural ingredients, which means no hydrogenated or partially-hydrogenated fats or oils.
Our chocolate products are made in a facility where peanuts, tree nuts, milk and soy are used in other products. Our chocolate angels may contain traces of these ingredients. Our milk and white chocolate contain milk.
What is “blooming” on chocolate and is it safe to eat?
Chocolate bloom is the whitish film that can discolor the surface of chocolate. It is quite common and is actually the cocoa butter within the chocolate rising to the surface. Bloom is caused when the chocolate is exposed to a change in temperature. The cocoa butter separates from the chocolate and rises to the surface creating the “whitish” appearance. Blooming is a cosmetic issue and not a safety issue. Bloomed chocolate is safe to eat.
What is the shelf life of an angel?
If kept in a cool environment (ideally 68 – 72 degrees) your angel will last 6 months to a year.
My angel is too pretty to eat! What do I do?
Indulge! We have non-edible angel wall hangings specifically for this reason.

Do you ship internationally?

Do you offer overnight delivery service?
Yes.
Do you ship during the hot weather months?
Yes. We take great care to ensure your chocolate angel arrives intact. Depending on the temperature of the destination we may only be able to offer Overnight Delivery to ensure the safe delivery of your angel.
Do you offer Drop Shipping services?
Yes. Please fill out the wholesale application and type “Drop Shipping” in the comments area.

What are angels?
Angels are spiritual beings who nurture and guide humanity. They are God’s messengers.
Meaning ~ angel; noun. A benevolent celestial being that acts as an intermediary between heaven and earth; derived from the Greek word “angelos” and the Latin word “angelus” both meaning “messenger” or “messenger of God”.
Are the angels available for wholesale?
Yes. If you have a brick and mortar store and would like to carry our angels you can find the Wholesale Application under “Wholesale” on our website. Please allow 24 – 72 hours for application approval.
Is there a discount for large orders?
